Most standard kitchens—like mine—have about 30 openings.
Hey guys, Derek with Dependable Painting and Remodeling!
We’re back with our final video in the series we just produced called “Cost: What Does It Cost?”
More specifically, what are we looking for when we go out and price a job?
The goal of these videos is to educate you and give you an inside look at what goes on behind the scenes, so we can be as transparent as possible.
This is a very specialized service we offer — professionally refinishing cabinets to a factory-like finish. Out of 20-25 painters who work for me, only two—plus myself (making three)—are capable of doing cabinets.
It’s a labor of love that requires significant skill and years of experience to master, all to produce flawless finishes.
We perform all of our cabinet refinishing at our studio in Dallas, Georgia, serving the Dallas and Roswell areas. This setup allows us to come to your property, take down the doors and drawers, remove all non-stationary components, and refinish them in our controlled environment — ensuring a high-quality finish.
Once done, we return to reinstall the doors, drawers, and hardware, while also prepping and refinishing the stationary components.
This process delivers excellent results and provides a great customer experience because we’re not monopolizing your entire kitchen for five days.
We work on a schedule, set up a convenient time, and you only lose your kitchen for one to two days — that’s it!
When it comes to estimating, size is the first and most important factor — specifically, the number of openings.
Many people think about doors and drawers separately, but ultimately, we estimate based on openings, since they require the same amount of work: removal, sanding, and coating.
Once we set up inside our booth, the workspace becomes relative — it doesn’t matter whether it’s larger or smaller.
I’m always happy to discuss your project, the available options, and our services — all aimed at delivering a great finish with a smooth, stress-free process.
Feel free to call me at: 470-322-7107
With just a few questions, I can give you an idea of your project’s cost so we can work together to make it happen.
Thanks
