Here is Our Interior Painting Process

Prep: Dependable Painting & Remodeling usually begins by doing all necessary prep work prior to painting. Caulking of cracks and spackling of small holes is done prior to painting walls. If pictures or wall hangings are to be installed in the same location, nails or hangers can be left in place and painted over. We use a 45-55 year caulk.

Paint: Typically, the same day painting begins. Dependable Painting & Remodeling applies all paints according to manufacturer specifications to ensure proper warranty. Proper warranty includes applying the paint at a proper mil thickness wet or dry. Two coats will not add to or take away from the warranty. We apply most interior paints in a one-coat process to thickness specifications and if necessary, add more for coverage or hiding at our discretion.

Clean: Dependable Painting & Remodeling will try to clean the job site cleaner than when we arrived. This includes picking up all trash, vacuuming, cleaning counters, etc

Touch-up Kit: A touch-up kit that includes a pint of each paint or product used is left in a labeled box for your convenience. Each sample is labeled with the color name or number, type of product, sheen, and where it is located on the job.

Invoice: Upon completion, Dependable Painting and Remodeling mails or emails an invoice the day the job is complete. We then follow up with a “How did we Do?” email. A receipt will be provided upon payment for your convenience and satisfaction. We encourage all customers to leave a review, whether positive or negative to help improve customer service.
