Ecru

Ecru is the color of raw linen. Traditionally, ecru was considered a shade of leather, but starting in the 19th century it was defined more precisely as “a greyish yellow-green and lighter than leather or old ivory”. Ecru comes from the French word écru, which means unbleached.
