Cambridge Blue (colour)

Cambridge Blue is the color commonly used by Cambridge University sports teams. There are contextual and historical variations. The color used by the Cambridge University Yacht Club since the mid-20th century is greener than that of the R.U.F.C. from the University of Cambridge. (in rugby union). This rudder color originated when Alf Twinn, the boatswain from 1934 to 1984, added more yellow to this hue, ostensibly to distinguish it from the rugby club colour.
