Cadet Gray (sometimes spelled Cadet Gray in parts of the United States) is a slightly blue-gray shade of the color gray. The first recorded use of cadet gray as a color name in English was in 1912. Prior to 1912, the word cadet gray was used as a name for a type of military uniform.
